The Hundred Years' War started with Edward III of England becoming the king of France. This angered people and started a feud between France and England. Charles VIII became the king of France after this. Joan of Arc got permission from the king to lead troops against England and won at Orleans. This war ended in France gaining more land, stability, and a better economy while England lost its French colonies, had Parliament gain more power, and ended Feudalism.
France, during the war, lost many recources. These include moneyand soldiers. They did, however, win the war because they Joan of Ark who lead them to victory.
Joan of Arc was burn for "witch craft" stuff by England. I think there were mad the she was the reason that they lost.
Edward the III of England started the war by declaring it on Charles VIII of France. England had advance weapons from previous wars, but the French had Joan of Arc, who would lead them to victory. France lost land and money, so riots would break out from hungry peasants. Joan of Arc was captured and was burn on a stake for heresy. After Joan of Arc's death, the French were inspired and push England off their land and ended the war.
They are several notable impacts of the Hundred Years War. For example, the English long bow, which allowed both accuracy and penetration on a knight's armor. The Hundred Years war also drove the English outside of France, forcing them to claim other lands. In addition, both England and France lost the feudal system, with the king's power expanding in bot countries. Lastly, the power of parliament in England rises, weakening the king in some areas, and removing the knight in others.
The 100 years' war caused the Monarchy of England and France to grow stronger. The power of the kings destroys feudalism in the their lands. The French won the war after the martyrdom of Joan of Arc. They pushed England out of France and established a powerful monarchy
The Monarchy of England grew stronger during the 100 Year's War. The War was started when a new king of England was crowned, Edward III. He declared war on France's Charles VIII, which backfired because they were forced off their land and fuedalism no longer existed. I think that although the monarchy grew stronger, the consequences were larger than the positive results.
The 100 Year War was between the French and English. During the War the monarchies grew stronger. During the was Joan of Arc led them to victory. After her death the French were determined to drive the English off their land. This ended the 100 Year War.
France also lost land and had a famine. This led to a revolt.
France seemed to make it out with more money and Nationalism. The country also became more stable. While, England also gained Nationalism, but also lost parts of the French land. England also started to pay more attention to their problems.
Nationalism also gave French something to believe in.
The 100 Years War, between France and England, ended in a different way than it started out. For both countries, the effects of the causes of war was that Nationalism rised greatly. France had the overall victory in the end because of the inspiration from Joan or Arc, which caused their country, government, and economy to improve. England's defeat caused them to slow down and concentrate on England and not expanding, and they also had changes in the respect of feudalism because it no longer existed in England and the King had gradually less power.
England and France both trying to create strong governments. 1337 was start of war when Edward III England claims French Crown. French lost money and land from raising taxes and Famine. Joan was burned at the stake and this ended the war.
The Kings expanded the land. Feudalism doesn't exist anymore. (Had to add this my last sentence didn't post for some reason.)
English and France's economic rivalry led to an one-hundred year war. The English were winning at first due to superior weaponry but Joan of Arc, a brave Frenchwoman, led France to victory at New Orleans. She was a inspiring figure and her contribution led them to victory under Charles VII. Both countries had increased nationalism and feudalism declined, vanishing in England and becoming weaker in France. The deaths in the war led to common soldiers being more valued than knights in England and the cannon and long bow change the battlefield.
The 100 year war was a growing struggle between the English and the French. This was because of land and economies. New weapons were introduced to the war. A turning point of the war was when Joan of Arc had won the Battle at Orleans. The war ended after Joan of Arc had been burned at the steak and the two countries settled.
This is true because Joan won the war and she was killed after she won. This made everything turn from good to bad.
At the start of the 100 year war, the English were overpowering the French. They lost a lot due to the fighting. Joan who was tried and killed became an inspiration to the French. This allowed The French to defeat the English and end the war.
The two rival countries build up a strong economy and nationalism, trying to best each other. They break out into war after Edward the 3rd of England claims the French Crown, so the two created better weapons in order to kill each other more effectively, making an impact on the way wars are fought. The war also put an end to the feudal system, altering the way countries are run.
The 100 Years War lasted a little over 100 years. Edward III claimed the French throne but the French rejected it, which started the war. Henry V renewed the war and attempted to have the thrown himself. The conflict ended because the English recognized that the French troops were too strong. A impact is nationalism in the 14th and 15th centuries was a positive force that influenced the growth of English culture.
The 100 year war mad the church become weak because all the people were fighting. It made Islam become weaker because of all the fighting they became weaker and weaker. At the beginning of the war the English was winning and that lasted 100 some Years but soon French came and took what was there's back.
The 100 year war still impacts people today.
England and France were both trying to create central governments and that increased nationalism in both. With the 100 year wars France lost a lot of money and the taxes raised and the king build power. In England parliaments increase power which means kings had to ask for money. Another thing is that the feudalism no longer exist and the monarchy grew powerful and stronger but I believe that it didn't leave to many positive things.
Right it didn't leave a lot of positive things because al other of people died and it make jobs harder to find because the rate people were dieing.

Some significant causes of the 100 years war are: the creation of a central government (England and France), the continuous battles over French lands, economic rivalry between the two countries, and their increased nationalism. England began to win the early battles because of their new weaponry which included gunpowder and the longbow. France eventually comes back to start winning in Orleans, after they get through the Peasant Revolt. After 116 years of fighting, the war ends with the French pushing English out.
France had a better impact because their stability increased and their economy was restored. They were also able to regain the lands that England had. England lost those French lands and their dream for a continental empire came to an end. However, it was somewhat a benefit for the people since feudalism has ended and for common soldiers who are now paid.
The 100 Years War finally ended when Joan of Arc was executed. She was captured and tried for heresy. They found her guilty and burned her at the stake. This classifies her as a martyr. France took this as inspiration to avenge their hero, and pushed England out. France's king also gained power.
